Fleur du jour

Inspired by the great tradition of multiple-wear jewelry dear to Boucheron, the Fleur du jour (Daylight flower) set is an open, “question mark” necklace and far more than just a jewel. It is a hymn to nature and to springtime; it is a tribute to the Belle Otero, it is an artisan’s interpretation of light and dark in an ode to painting and sculpture.

To create is to remember

Since it was founded, the Maison has taken inspiration from the wonders of nature, including flowers. Frédéric Boucheron asserted his unusual taste for untamed, wild flowers and plants such as the hawthorne, the briar rose, ivy or the thistle and had a remakable talent for rendering their free and indomptable spirit.

The Magician of Stones

The beauty of this set resides in the delicate interplay of shadow and light, of volume and movement and of color variations.

Its nine petals are set with round diamonds, making it a luminous mirror image of the first flower. This exquisite interpretation of the duality is full of nuance and subtlety, offering an extraordinary play on light and dark, shadow and light, the same and the other.

The Hands of Light

This set is inspired by two themes dear to Boucheron creativity: the open Point d’Interrogation necklace and multiple-wear jewelry.

The Point d’interrogation necklace is the perfect frame for the subtle floral arrangement of the Fleur du jour set. The open, claspless structure of the necklace gives freedom of movement and its tapered end, set with a pear-cut diamond, evokes the flower’s stem.

The magic of the necklace resides in its invisible technique and the result is an effect of exquisite balance and freedom.

The Sparkle of Soul

There are many protective symbols for this floral set.

The stone of poets and muses, it bestows inspiration on the artist. It is also considered to be the gemstone of serenity, calm and wisdom.

As for mother-of-pearl, sought after for its iridescent highlights, its history dates back to Antiquity as a gem able to protect the soul with a tender veil, preventing sorrow and heart-break.

Delicate, elegant, fragrant and generous, the pansy is a flower that evokes love, desire and fidelity.
